Where do you find your hope? Daniel, visibly distressed over God’s people in view of their restoration in God’s plan, leads us to walk in hope of Christ’s revelation, grounded in God’s purposes, God’s strength and God’s word. It is in treasuring Christ that we are set on a mission better and bigger than the self, it is in dependence upon Christ in prayer that we are graced with the strength needed to fight the good fight of faith, and it is in the Author, Himself who has sovereignly purposed His effective word, to which we receive steadfast assurance for whatever the future may hold. Hope is in the mission unto Christ, in the strength of Christ for the battle and in the Living Word as our assurance.
