After Habakkuk waits upon God at his watchpost, God gives him a vision and tells him to write it down. God’s Word contrasts the puffed up, arrogant nation of Babylon and the righteous, who live by faith. God will punish Babylon by giving them over to their own pride and greed, which will poison them in the end.
