Throughout the book of Hebrews, we will see that Jesus is greater. The author begins by comparing Jesus with the angels, which is hardly a comparison at all. Jesus surpasses the angels in every way. Though we may not be tempted to worship angels, we each have things that compete to take Christ’s place in our lives.
