In Isaiah 43:1-7 God provides His reassurance to His people with 5 signposts of His grace. Possession of them, presence with them, purchase of them, and promise to them. All of these are grounded in and moving towards His purpose: the glory of God. In all these signposts we observe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that transforms. Thus, we called to be God’s witnesses, not to glory in ourselves to accomplish our dreams but to give glory unto God alone; being satisfied and fulfilled in Him. We are called to be strengthened, not with human determination, but in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
