True rest is found in Christ alone. Just as Boaz received Ruth even though she was a foreigner, Christ receives us even though we are sinners. When we come to Him in our need, He will protect us and provide for us from His abundance.

In this message, we learn that Boaz is a Christ-like figure. Just as Boaz cared for Ruth, Christ cares for us out of His abundance and deals with us as His children, not as foreigners. Jesus does not ask for repayment, but for a life of gratitude and dependance.
