Born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa, Jide is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. His strong belief in God’s sovereignty has served as a steadfast anchor for his soul as he pursues God’s priorities in his life, ministry, and family, even during challenging times.

In August 2022, Jide and his family relocated to Winnipeg from Dubai, UAE, where they had lived for over ten years. While in Dubai, they served in various roles at the Evangelical Christian Church of Dubai. Since their arrival in August 2022, they have been attending Waverley Church.

Jide uses his talents to serve on the sound and media team and is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed in God’s house, particularly in overseeing the maintenance of the church. You can often find him working behind the scenes.

Jide has been married to Bisi for twenty-one years, and together they are blessed with two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, listening to good music, going on road trips, undertaking home renovations, and hunting for great deals.
