Covenant Grace

As Jacob distances himself from Esau's vengeful plot, another Person pursues Jacob with a holy purpose and loving provision. Jacob’s escape caused by his dishonesty is the stage upon which God grants Jacob a vivid dream of future redemption, and assures Jacob of His ongoing presence. In this message we discover, like Jacob did, that God’s grace is given not based on the goodness and faithfulness of the recipient, but is based on the goodness and faithfulness of God. And how might Jacob’s response to God inform ours? By revelling in God that earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal.
