Me, First

Paul was teaching about generous giving to a group of Christians. He used an example of another group and said about them, “they gave themselves first to the Lord”.

Everything we have is from God. He takes care of our needs. He has given us resources, abilities and time. The question is, what do we do with what we have received? The Bible teaches us that we need to manage it, use it and give it away carefully and generously, just as God has done for us. The key is we need to think of ourselves, first, and then give ourselves to God, first.
