News of terrorism, threats of violence, economic disaster stands is ready to pounce, unstable leadership and stifling religion. These aren’t just today’s depressing headlines, they were the headlines over 2600 years ago. In the midst of dark pessimism God promised to send someone who would bring true hope. God had a choice: leave us to our own devices or step in an offer us salvation. He chose salvation and provided it all through Jesus, whose name means, “God is Salvation”.
